Rick Rubin Compilation Album Cover

This one was for my cousin’s class project. He’s a music major and the assignment was to form a pretend record lable or music management group or something like that. Creating a compilation album was one of the assignments, so he asked me to design the cover. I didn’t have much to work with, so I went with a simple, minimalistic approach and focused on type layout, white space, and greyscale.
